David Cheng serves as Of Counsel to Molden Law Firm, LLC. In that capacity, he serves the firm’s clients in the areas of employment law, commercial litigation, and debtor creditor relations.David graduated cum laude, J.D., from Mercer University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Journal of Southern Legal History. Prior to his time at Mercer, he was a J.D. candidate at Faulkner University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Faulkner Law Review. In law school, he received many accolades including haven written the second best case note in the Faulkner Law Review write-on competition, the CALI Award for Highest Grade in Intellectual Property, and the Mercer Advocacy Council Award for Negotiations. He served as Vice President of Mercer’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and Community Service Director of the Black Law Students Association. He was also a staff writer for Mercer Law Free Press.David’s legal experience includes clerkships at the United States Attorney’s Office, the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Montgomery County, and the Georgia Justice Project.David was born and raised in Chicago, IL, but he is now enjoying his time here in Atlanta, GA. He is a board member of Passion for Life, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to assisting at risk youth here in metro Atlanta. He is a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
